Dr. LaTrice Loche | Assistant Director of Counseling

Dr. LaTrice Loche is the Assistant Director of Counseling at Cristo Rey Dallas. Dr. Loche received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Oklahoma State University and Masters in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern State University. She completed her APA Accredited doctoral internship program at Indian Health Care Resource Center in 2016. She has more than eight years of experience working with at-risk youth. Her career includes a wide range of clinical experience in community mental health, Veteran Affairs, inpatient care, residential treatment, Indian health services, and juvenile justice. She was most recently employed with Dallas County Juvenile Department providing psychological evaluations and intensive trauma informed treatment to adolescent females.
 

Dr. Loche’s focus is to decrease the stigma of mental health services among minority families and increase the culturally informed services provided to families. She encourages viewing and working with students from a holistic perspective, while promoting academic, spiritual, social, and emotional development. She is passionate about working with youth, young adults and families in a capacity that fosters change, increased well-being, healthy interpersonal skills and academic achievement.

She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas Christian University, and she is a huge Horned Frog football fan. She is a native of Houston and loves the Texans. Dr. Loche is married to a Staff Psychologist at the Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth, and they enjoy playing with and watching their baby boy grow. Dr. Loche loves to play video games, watch football and movies and spend time with family in her spare time.
