Kelsey Shaw attended the University of Arkansas and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and International Relations with a minor in Spanish. She has worked in the tech startup and advertising worlds, while also working as a freelance artist.
As the Aesthetic Literacy teacher at Cristo Rey Dallas, she teaches students how to read and interpret the visually expressed idea. She focuses on the creative process, enabling students to apply the process not only to the production of visual work but also to the application of the creative process to business ventures.
Mrs. Shaw is excited for the opportunity to affirmatively respond to the call of Christ in her life, to use her education and work experiences to expose students to entrepreneurship, the role of faith in art and the importance of always asking "why."
