Ann Salazar teaches 10th and 11th grade Mathematics at Cristo Rey Dallas. While a native Texan by definition, Mrs. Salazar grew up in Anaheim, California and Phoenix, Arizona. She returned to the great state of Texas to attend college at the University of Dallas.
While studying at the University of Dallas, she was able to spend a semester at UD’s beautiful Eugene Constantin Campus southeast of Rome. Most of Mrs. Salazar’s time in Italy was spent wandering through art museums, traveling through Italy and Europe, and eating gelato, however, she was also able to spend time once a week tutoring Italian elementary students in English. Upon returning to Irving, Mrs. Salazar declared her major and realized her desire to teach.
Mrs. Salazar earned her B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Dallas and soon after graduation began her career in education.
In her free time, Mrs. Salazar enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her family.
