Maddie Felts | History Teacher

Maddie Felts teaches 10th grade World History and 11th grade American Literature. Ms. Felts grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended the University of Notre Dame, where she studied Political Science and Public Service. In college, she developed a passion for social justice, and she saw how faith can promote universal human dignity when she spent her senior year studying Pope Francis’ role in the European migration crisis.

After graduating, Ms. Felts joined the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE), which brought her to Cristo Rey Dallas. Through the ACE program, she is currently working on her Master’s in Education from the University of Notre Dame. She feels incredibly grateful to be a part of the Cristo Rey Dallas family, and she looks forward to the opportunity to work, learn, and grow alongside the students, parents, and faculty.

In her free time, Ms. Felts enjoys running, traveling, and exploring her new home of Dallas. Outside of school, you can find her cooking or baking new recipes or partly running, but mostly trying to pet every dog in sight on the Katy Trail.
