Megan Fliss is the Director of Curriculum at Cristo Rey Dallas. She graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with a degree in Community Health. After college, Ms. Fliss joined Teach For America and was placed in Dallas. She taught 10th grade Chemistry for three years at Uplift Peak Preparatory. After this time, she worked as a College Counselor and Alumni Counselor also at Uplift Peak Preparatory. During the 2016-2017 school year, she earned her Master’s Degree in Prevention Science and Practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Catholic faith is what drives Ms. Fliss in this work. She is a recent convert to Catholicism and strongly identifies with Catholicism’s call to social justice and service. While committed to serving students of all faith backgrounds, she values the opportunity to lead at a school grounded in Catholic ideology.
Ms. Fliss enjoys spending time with her parents and younger brother. She loves running, playing ice hockey, swimming, and exploring restaurants in the Dallas area. She is thrilled to be part of the Cristo Rey Dallas family.
