Molly O’Brien, a Dallas native, teaches 9th grade Theology. Before starting at Cristo Rey Dallas, she attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English. After graduating, Ms. O’Brien moved to Houston, Texas and attended the University of St. Thomas for graduate school. While working on her Masters in Education, she taught Middle School Reading and English at Corpus Christi Catholic School. She graduated with her M.Ed in May of 2017 and moved back to Dallas to join the Cristo Rey Dallas team.
Ms. O’Brien is excited to be working at CRD and is looking forward to journeying alongside the freshmen as a new member of the FIRE family. As a part of the class, students will reflect on their personal experiences of faith and explore who Jesus Christ is through Sacred Scripture.
Outside of teaching, Ms. O’Brien enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and running. Don’t be surprised if you see her jogging around White Rock Lake, trolling the chocolate aisle of any grocery store, or taking lots of photos of all her new nieces and nephews.
